The Sprinter van was released in the USA in 2001. Most of the sprinters have a 2.7 liter Mercedes 5 cylinder, common rail Diesel engine. Later models could be purchased with a 3.0 liter Diesel. Early sprinters had a mechanical lift pump, then later switched over to an in-tank electric pump. The sprinter vans are a good platform for a conversion, however given their tight spaces and potentially complex wiring, installation can be involved and complicated.
Given the many configurations that the Sprinter comes in, Cargo, passenger, RV, it is necessary to look at each application to determine the best tank configuration for the vehicle. In cargo and passenger applications a Trekker tank can usually be used. For RV's a custom built tank is usually required.
Due to the complexity of the installation and the custom nature of the kit, it is only offered at our installation shops around the country. You may call any of our shops if you have questions and to make an appointment for installation.
