This is a system developed exclusively for the Ford Excursion 7.3L. This custom system is the pride of Golden Fuel Systems. All components including the filter and both the diesel tank and SVO tank are mounted under the vehicle, so there is no intrusion into the luxurious passenger compartment.

Ford Excursion Kit

This custom system is the pride of Golden Fuel Systems. All components including the filter and tanks are mounted under the vehicle, so there is no intrusion into the luxurious passenger compartment. This system entails modifying the stock 45 gallon tank with a coolant-heated Hot Fox Fuel Pick-up Unit for superb heat transfer and quickest switch over time.  A custom-designed 24 gallon auxiliary diesel tank is mounted underneath the vehicle for the diesel start-up. There are 2 Inline Racor Filters installed; one for the SVO tank and one for the diesel tank. The stock fill port will be replaced with a dual fill port for easy access to both tanks. The tank doesn't hang any lower then any drive train components, so 4 wheel drive capabilities are not hindered. This system was designed specifically for the Ford Excursion and was developed for convenience of use and ease of installation. However, this system is still one of the more involved systems to install due to the custom nature of it. We recommend having it installed at any of our certified installation locations for a guaranteed, problem-free installation.

Ford Excursion Points:
• Ford Excursion Systems are compatible with all 7.3L Excursions. We currently do not recommend a SVO conversion on the 6.0L Fords. Please check our Fuel Systems FAQS page for more on this topic.
