GFS 900 Filter with External Heater and Filter Insulator
Dimensions (17"x6"x7") Flow Rate 90 GPH
Replacements AquaBloc filters are easily swapped out through the top of the filter (no messy spin-on or off.) They are available in 10 or 2 micron. The GFS 900 filter assemblies protect precision engine components from dirt, rust, algae, asphaltines, varnishes and especially water, which is prevalent in engine fuels. This filter includes a 12V, 100 watt external heater, and insulating pad.
GFS 900 Filters remove contaminants from fuel using the following legendary three stage process:
Stage 1 - separation -
The turbine centrifuge separates solids and “free” water through centrifugal action. Although the turbine has no moving parts, over 30% of the contaminants are removed here. Water, which is heavier than oil, falls to the bottom of the collection bowl.
Stage 2 - coalescing -
Small water droplets bead-up on the surface of the conical baffle and cartridge element. When heavy enough, they too fall to the bottom of the collection bowl.
Stage 3 - filtration -
Proprietary Aquabloc II cartridge elements repel water and remove contaminants from fuel down to 10 or 2 micron. Aquabloc II cartridge elements are waterproof and effective longer than water absorbing elements.
Installation and Operation: All Filters must be mounted 10 degrees from vertical to function properly. The see-thru contaminant collection bowl allows the operator to check for water and solid contamination at a glance. Overhead Clearance needed: 5”. Allow for at least 2” clearance under the unit for draining water from the collection bowl. Turbine series filter assemblies are designed to be installed on the vacuum side of the fuel transfer pump for best efficiency.
